Snail Mucin Serum

Gentle yet effective.This would be great for someone wanting to try a snail mucin product but worried about the texture and consistency.This snail serum is a bit runnier, less goopy than other snail serums/snail mucin products. It is closer to most other serums I've tried, ones without the snail mucin.It does a good job at hydrating and my skin feels plumper afterwards. I like using this on days my skin is a bit red and has got a bit of sun or maybe a bit of damage from a chemical peel. This serum feels so soothing on my skin and I do think it's helping repair some of the damage to my skin.

Unlike the other snail serum (made in Korea), my daughter has become a fan too. This one lacks the higher percentage that she feels, is what contributes to her skin improvement. The ingredients in this serum are beneficial, but I would say, with the light amounts, it's not really a addition for night treatment night. Therefore, it is now applied only for daytime use. I honestly, can't say it's made a remarkable difference in the appearance of her skin, because it already had a healthy glowing look! But she knows that it is important that in order to maintain that level, she must keep using products of a healthy standard to retain it!This serum is at a price point most of us can afford. Which is great, if it works out for you, especially, if it becomes a daily item. I suggest, as with introducing any new skin addition to one's skin care routine, do a 24 hour patch test. It contains Allantoin, which can cause redness, burning and stinging to the skin. Luckily, my daughter has NOT had any issue with it at all.Considering all things, the serum is inexpensive, made in the USA, and warrants a try, for daytime use!

This doesn't say what percentage snail mucin it contains. I've been using one that's 96% snail mucin and thisdoesn't quite compete, although it is nice. The other ingredients it contains contribute to the hydration. It took me a bit to push past my squeamishness about putting snail mucin on my face, but once I did I was glad. It's so hydrating without being the least bit irritating and it blends so well with all other products. But for my money, I prefer to pay more for a higher percent snail mucin that has fewer other ingredients.
